Friday, June 14th, 2019

I am forwarding a message I received from our graduate counsellor, Yvette Lalonde. Congratulations Yvette!

I’m excited to announce that I’m (Inner Flow Counselling | Wellness) now the West Coast facilitator for the Movement for Trauma Level 1 training in Vancouver and will be offering it October 26/27.
This training is open to practitioners from a variety of backgrounds who want to deepen their understanding of how trauma presents in the body.
This experiential training includes:
• Strategies for tracking your nervous system in relationship with clients;
• Tools to reactivate the ventral vagal complex (rest, digest, relate) to foster a deeper sense of safety in your clients;
• An overview of how to apply the science of neurobiology in your treatments or sessions;
• An understanding of how movement can be adapted to support clients in building resiliency and regulating their nervous system.
For a full list of what this training includes or to grab your spot while it’s available, follow the link. Early bird pricing until September 15th.
This training is not a formula or system. It gives you the necessary tools to integrate movement from a trauma-informed, resiliency-driven lens into the therapy room in an accessible and adaptable way.
