In-Person, Online & Combined Learning

Choose the learning format that works best for you. Many VCCT programs are available in-person, online, or through combined study options.

This diploma program provides comprehensive training for individuals seeking careers in social services and community mental health. Students will develop the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to support individuals, families, and communities in overcoming challenges and promoting mental well-being. The program covers key topics such as social work principles, case management, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, mental health assessment, and advocacy. With a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and field placements, graduates will be prepared to work in a variety of roles within social service agencies, community organizations, and mental health support programs.

Note: This program is not eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
