The Diploma in Social Service Worker program prepares students for meaningful careers in social services, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to support individuals, families, and communities. The program focuses on key areas such as case management, advocacy, mental health support, community engagement, and crisis intervention. Students will gain a deep understanding of social justice principles, cultural competence, and ethical practices while developing practical tools for assessing needs, planning interventions, and facilitating access to community resources. With a blend of classroom instruction and field placements, graduates will be well-prepared to make a positive impact in various social service and community-based roles.

Diploma in Social Service Worker was reviewed and approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.

Note: This program is not eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
